Archontiko ”i Misirlou” was the ancestral home of Catherine Dragou and Elia Triselioti, a red brick manufacturer. The house, located on the main street of Kalopanayiotis, was constructed from Elias’ red bricks. The top floor of the building once housed the renowned “Elias café”, best remembered for its traditional doughnuts.
The residence is located on the main street of Kalopanayiotis and provides panoramic views of the Marathasa valley and St. John’s Lambadistis monastery. It was renovated in 2011, following the high standards set by the Rural Development Funding Programs for traditional residences.
